But I was able to hollow out the hole...so I went to Home Depot and get a nut/bolt. Can't be driving around without a seat, ya know.
In the meantime, I was driving around in my brothers current car/my old car...the golden chariot

BTW today was rewire day...new RCA's, all new speaker wire, I even ran another run of speaker wire from the crossover in the doors to the kicks, for when I upgrade to 3 way passive

I've seen the same thing happen with titanium in people a few times . This usually happens when they do not take it easy.

I had some bits that looked exactly the same as yours and I was drilling of a screw on my probe and the thing snapped like a pretzal. Bad thing was that I used a half dead cordless drill and I got them from Home Depot just because I never had titanium bits. I'm thinking strong but I'll stick to my regular iron\aluminum bits.

It's only titanium coating, and you really don't need it for what you were doing.
HSS ( high speed steel ) would be fine. That's a fairly long bit, the shorter the better, unless it has to be that long. Another tip, start with a small pilot hole and work up to a bigger size, takes a little longer, but less problems.
Worked 8 years in a machine shop. I've broken more drill bits than I can remember and the boss was never too happy when I had to inform him that the $80 bit we just installed chipped and needed to be replaced.

Are those bits made for removing stripped screws/bolts? The ones I used were specific for removing stripped screws/bolts and are used in a reverse direction on the drill. Worked wonderfully. From the pic, it looks like those are "standard" direction drill bits.
