Amp wiring questions - DVC sub, 4-channel amp
Ok - I feel like I've read 30 threads about wiring amps, but am still totally confused.
Direct question - how do I wire the following components to get the best sound quality?
1. Infinity 1042w - Dual Voice Coil (4 ohms on each coil) subwoofer
2. Alpine MRV-F301 subwoofer - 50Wx4 @ 4 ohm (60x4@2 ohm)and 120x2 that can be bridged from 4 channels to 2.
If this is not enough info, let me know. I've wired the subs to produce a 2ohm load, but am not clear if the amp can support this. It is supposed to produce 100 watts RMS at 4 ohms - if it can do 4 ohms, would it possibly have a problem doing 2 ohms? Thanks!

You're going to want to redo the sub wiring. IN fact I would say add a second terminal cup to the box so you can wire each voice coil to each terminal cup. Then bridge the amp, channels 1 + 2 to one voice coil, and channels 3 + 4 to the other voice coil.
