HU Shopping time.....Any advice?

So I HAD an Eclipse CD5435
But ummmmmmmmmmm
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=477782

So now it's time to shop for another HU. Should I just get the 06 replacement? The CD4000 I believe. Or are there better HU's for the price?

IIRC, Eclipse offers a 3-year warranty against theft when purchased and installed from a dealer...

I'll have a chat with him tonight and see what he says. But it is NOT a stolen unit so I think I am good.

The 'mystery man' might be able to help you. He has a great deal on the newwer Eclipse models, the CD4000 is VERY nice, although CD7000 > *

...oh, yeah - he has a good price on that, too.

Sorry dude.

If they didn't take it though, why do you need a new one? They broke it? I don't see any damage.

(Plug for my AVN for sale?)

Someone else already wants it

Ribbon cable is on the ground actually. But the plastic pieces are broken(that hold faceplate close to the unit).

So who is the "Mystery man" and how do I find out about authorized dealers?? Im looking into getting the CD5000, and a long theft warrantty would be nice since most of the models do not include removeable faceplates.
