2 q's..sound deadening...rear sub..

1. For all those that have sound deadened their doors...did you notice a big difference? If so, in terms of what? SQ?

2. In the rear deck...do you think it would be possible to mount a 10" sub in the mounting tray..?

Thanks..

If your talkin about a 5th gen., then no, not without some fabrication involved. You do also realize you would be running an infinite baffle set-up, and that you need a strong sub and to only run half the power of what it's recommended rms is.

sound deading the doors is better than a speaker upgrade. Do it. BIIIIG difference. Do it right and double or tripple it up. especially on the outre repair panel.

if you do, be prepared to readjust the door b/c it's going to sag an eighth of an inch or so. but yeah, deadening the inner and outer skin is good idea.
