ok, well im pretty much sold on the JLs, now i just want advice on how to run them at 2Ohms together, in parallel i suppose.. the subs come in 2,4 and 6 ohms each, so what do i want to achieve my 2 ohms?? and how to wire them also. thanks again

Ok, first off are we talking a pair or a triple? You wire them in a series / parallel configuration. For a pair, choose the 2ohm DVC's. You wire the voice coils on each sub in series ie. take the negative terminal of on voice coil to the positive on the other. So now you have 1 positive and 1 negative terminal open on each sub. Then you wire those terminals in parellel.
2 - 2ohms in series = 4ohms
2 - 4ohms in parallel = 2ohms
I'll try to kinda draw something here for you:
from amp---(+)sub1 voice coil1(-)----(+)sub1 voice coil2(-)---back to amp
from amp---(+)sub2 voice coil1(-)----(+)sub2 voice coil2(-)---back to amp
For the triple you wire it the same way, but you choose the 4ohm DVC's and you just have one more sub to wire in parallel.
from amp---(+)sub1 voice coil1(-)----(+)sub1 voice coil2(-)---back to amp
from amp---(+)sub2 voice coil1(-)----(+)sub2 voice coil2(-)---back to amp
from amp---(+)sub3 voice coil1(-)----(+)sub3 voice coil2(-)---back to amp
2 - 4ohms in series = 8ohms
3 - 8ohms in parallel = 2.67ohms
Good luck!

JL's go soft and loose quality in less than a year. I say this cause i work for a JL dealer and get the same complaints all the time. As for Infinity they are ok for the money. I reccomend Kicker subs, they can take anything you give them and will out last any other sub out there. Typically when a customer bings back JL's i either sell them Kickers subs(Solo-barics/VR's/L7 Square) or tell them to buy Alpine Type-R subs.
Kicker has their new line of Comp-VR subs. I reccomend these cause they are now availible in dual 2/4 ohm voice coils and have a rubber surround to make stronger and last longer.
