bumping advice

I'm trying to decide what amp i should get. I have 2 12' Infinity 300watt RMS subs in the trunk and i need a new amp. I have narrowed my search down to 8 different brands of amps all with 600 rated (some actually produce more) wattage stable for my 2 ohm load of power. Current amp i have now is not important.

the circuit city guy was pushing some eclipse amp (ive never heard of eclipse) ...which he claimed was Gods gift to car audio because it had great quality sound. Yet when i asked if i could hear a demo he said nothing was hooked up... GG

* The alpine MRD-M605 has some pretty good reviews ...but the problem is its pretty cheap compared to all of the other amps in its class and in car audio you get what you pay for and i'm tired of buying cheap amps that dont give my subs enough power.

* The audiobahn A12005DN looks nice...but i dont know much about them. couldnt find any reviews

* the infinity REF611A is also one to note since i do have infinity subs. however, i havent seen many infinity setups (**** i havent seen many setups at all) and i havent ever heard an infinity powered setup. reviews--non existant

* the Kicker 04KX600.1 looks nice, price is acceptable given that it produces some quality sound, but i cant find reviews on it. alas, it is kicker so thats saying something.

* The MTX TA5601 is a possibility. it got great reviews and actual testing shows it produces more than 700watts (and blew that dudes dual infinity's because he didnt test the power coming out of it). If it's that good i would be willing to pay the price for it.

Am i missing any other major brands? What would you pick out of these listed above. as long as the price is under 400 and the amp doesnt blow my subs im open to suggestions.

In all of this, i guess I'm stuck between the Alpine and the MTX...the Alpine is much cheaper but someone i know stands behind the brand like they pay him (even though he doesnt own any aftermarket audio system).
