You get what you pay for. If you're not paying at least $0.75 per watt of power, then you're buying crapola.

There is sorta a review of amps, subs, and speakers half-way down the page on http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=60393&page=2

It doesn't go into detail, but it gives an opinion of whether or not the product is good.

that comment's pretty good

stay away from new Soundstream. They've lost pretty much all the lustre they had at one time.

Soundstorm != Soundstream

Correct about the newer Soundstream though. Although, I'd say even the newer Soundstream amps are better than Soundstorm. =)

I have one of the previous soundstorm amps that was made and i had no problems with it. I had it for about 3 years now and it still works fine, but the newer models I would stay away from, herd many bad reports about them. Get something worth the money.

I have a soundstream powering my front speakers and I've never had any problems with it.
