Front Speaker adapters 5th gen
Front Speaker adapters 5th gen
I notice that the stockers (non-Bose at least) are built into brackets that push the speaker out an inch or so from the door itself since the speaker cavity in the door panel is so deep. What have you all done? Nothing and just let the speaker sit way back in the hole against the door? Anyone know of any brackets to bring aftermarket speakers out closer to the grill for better projection?
Update
OK, well I just made my own front speaker adapters in order to bring the speaker out further in the door cavity to help with projection like the factory speakers. It made a difference.
I basically used 3/4" plywood as a spacer between the speaker and the door.

I traced the pattern that I will be happy to email or fax to anyone.
