Getting rid of door vibration noise
The doors of my max vibrate like hell when i'm listenin to music loud. Shocker, i know. In no way do i need to have every inch of my doors deadened to be happy. If i were to just do a sheet of deadener around the big speaker in each door, would that get rid of 80% of the noise? I don't see a reason for me to go out and get 6 thousand square feet shoved in my car, but i would like for the bulk of the crap-noise to go away? Would i be acoustically and economically pleased to just do the speakers and not the whole door kit? tia guys

At bare minimum, do a piece around the speaker, and the circular hole u cut out, stick it to the inside of the outer door skin (right behind the speaker)
The more you do, the better off you will be. You just have to find the happy medium between your budget/wants and decent sound.

It's in the stickies, BUT since I'm bored tonight,
remove door handle trim ring
remove cap in finger cup, remove screw in cup, remove cup
remove circular cap towards front of door, remove screw behind it
cup your fingers and run them along the bottom (under) of the door panel till you feel the opening-pull forward
disconnect 2 window plugs, lightbulb plug, trunk/gas plug
lift upwards and off.

so i decided to order 30 sq. ft. of eDead v2 for $1.60 a sq. foot. 62 bones shipped to my door. Beats the hell outta payin nearly 200 bucks for 24 sq. ft. of dynamat from bestbuy. BUT i am gonna let them install the eDead for me this weekend at the rate of 20 bucks a door. So i'm spendin about 150 total for the materials and the install. I'll give a review once i get it installed. thanks for the input guys.

Bottom line though ... don't buy sound deadener made of asphalt if you live anywhere that gets hot. Butyl > Asphalt
Also, keep in mind that sound deadener is only to reduce vibrations. It does not block outside noise. For noise, you'll want to get some closed cell foam like Ensolite.
