my project (car pc): need some advice

ok so i'm pretty much a huge noob when it comes to electronics. i'm planning to use the whole m1-atx m1000 via thing that a lot of people use. i have 2 different pictures. they're both of the same thing.

i have several questions.

1. is it ok to connect the lcd to the 12V ignition like that?

2. how would i route the wires to the front speakers (particarly the door) without wires showing?

3. do the front side speakers also drive the VERY front speakers?

3. how do i power the speakers? for instance in the rear left speaker i can clearly see the red and greed as the + - wires, but there are also black and red wires. are those the power?

4. can i use the existing antenna to use as an antenna for pc radio and how can i power it up/down?

Youd better take that joint to a shop and get a warranty, I got a headache now trying to figure out your sketch.

1. What kind of LCD screen is it? did it come with directions? you should tap the power from your HU's power or remote or something.

2. Why don't you instead just run the wires to right behind the HU? get some T-taps, tap the stock speaker lines from 1 location. much easier.

3. What does this mean? are you talking about the tweeters? what year max do you have?

3. speakers have a - and a + input. what other wires??

4. you can, if its the same type of antenna i would imagine, and just wire up the antenna correctly from behind the HU and it will go up and down when you're switched to tuner. are you using an aftermarket head unit?

No you can't just tap into the ignition wire to power the lcd. If you lcd screen does not come with remote on, power, and ground wires, then you will have to use a relay. remote on will go to ignition, power will go to battery with fuse in between battery and screen, ground will go to chasis.
Look at http://www.mp3car.com. It has a forum which you can join for help, as well as a store to buy your parts. I've looked there, and everything is in great detail, and a lot of people are there to help you out. Good luck.
