I just replied to your Kicker question.

Do you have alot of cassettes in your collection? Just curious why you'd want a double din in your I30. How about a flip out screen with a DVD player underneath it?

All double din decks have both cd/cassette in one. Otherwise go with a good cd player like Eclipse or Alpine and go with the factory pocket underneath it.

I have not regretted replacing my factory deck with an Eclipse yet. Even with the factory speakers and amp, it sounds pretty nice. If you want a decent price for Eclipse, get in touch with Maximadave.

The reason I was looking for double din is because I just think that a one piece unit tends to look better in the dash than two pieces...but I am open to ideas. Thats why I made this post. So what units would you suggest?

Depending on what price your looking at:

Eclipse 5442I we normally sold for $379.99 we are now selling them at $279.99. It has a 2.7 volt preamp output which is above average compared to most mfg.'s at the same price, 3 preouts, cd changer controls, wireless remote, 3 year warranty when installed by us, 1st year of ownership if it gets stolen you get a new one!, and 1st year is an over the counter exchange if it ever goes bad. Not a bad deal at all...

Alpine has a model CDA7873 for $299.99 has a motorized face plate 60WX4, cd controls, remote, and dancing lights. I would personally go with the Eclipse. Depending on where you live I might be able to hook you up at a different Tweeter store near you...let me know,
