Rear Speaker Question for 1996 Maxima

im trying to replace my 2 rear speakers because they are blown

dippitydoo on the forums is offering me 2 sets.
"That said, the Panasonic 5.25" speakers have a
hole-to-hole diameter of about 5 3/8". The model
number is cj-da1300. If this does not fit, I also
have a new set of Profile 6.5" ways. The diameter on
that is 6.25". The model number is sx6530."

hes charging me $35 shipped for either.

is it a good deal? and will it fit in my maxima without any problems. i just wanna have a simple replacement of my blown speakers. thanks...

Your rear speakers are 6.5"s. I personally have not heard how the Profiles sound. I don't know nor do I need to know your financial situation but I would choose something different. The perfect answer to your situation lives in the same city as you. His name is Don and his s/n is Pearl96Max. He can hook you up with some quality speakers at a great price.

Wil is right!

Man too bad Don is not around here .... maybe it's better that way... at least for the pocket book .

Serioulsy though, go look him up. That is exactly what I would do.

I racked my brain after reading this the first time. I dont think I have anything remotely close to that budget though. Well nothing I would feel comfortable selling to someone.

Rear Speaker Suggestions

Alright guys, I need some help/suggestions for choosing new rear speakers in my 96 Max. They recently blew, so I'm looking to add some more power to my car compared to the original stock speakers. So, my question is, do i have to be aware of the dimensions of the speakers i choose. I researched on Crutchfield, and it only came back with 7 different models that would fit in the rear deck. I don't want to have any problems with the mounting depth, and just want an easy in and out swap. So, is Crutchfield right? Do i have to choose from only those 7 models, or can I pick any 6.5 inch speaker out there? If i can only pick from those 7, Crutchfield is giving me the option of Blaupunkt VX652, Alpine Type-R SPR-17LP, or Infinity Reference 6012si. Any suggestions on these, or can i blow off Crutchfield and get higher end ones? Thanks in advance for any help.
