Well, I was bored so I bought a roll of grill cloth, and took off the plastic grills and used a scroll saw to cut out the slats( leaving the middle slat for a little protection) and then used hot glue to revocer the grill. Just thought I'd share what I've been up to.

Took it for a test spin. Sounds and looks much better than stock. It's a little brighter and airier sounding than before. If anyone has a pair of coax's in the door, and doesn't think they are bright enough should do this. It's as close as you can get to hearing the speakers without grils, while still having something there.......
