800 Bucks on subwoofers

Just sold my Audiopipe 2 12's for 700 with a SPL box. I know I Came out even. So now I have about 800 bucks...(from cash layin around) to spend on two subs not including box. I need suggestions. I have always had 12's. My installer said 15's sound like **** cause obviously no responsiveness. SO also doing a set up like 6 10's or anything like that. Just give me suggestions!!!!

ooooooooooh this is the second best part! (first being actually hearing the system)

6 tens would be awesome! or what about like..
(i have no idea how this would work but i was thinking before and liked it)
3 10's mounted either in the rear deck or in boxes in the back of the trunk behind the seats..and 2 12's..one on the left and one on the right of the trunk so you would end up with a u-shaped design in the end..
i dont know how the mix of sizes on the subs..does that work? i was thinking that if it did you would have a nice mix of punch and roll....maybe?

all i know for sure is that i wish i had that kind of money for subs! i'd go crazy!

you should find a different installer if he thinks 15 sounds like **** just because theyre big. the size of the sub doesn't dictate how responsive it will be.

anyhow...look into sound splinter subs. . great subs, very musical, and won't break your budget.

Shouldn't you go based on how much space you have?

You can have six 10" subs, but if their recommended enclosure is 1.5 cubes each, your going to have a pretty big box

I have gone through pairs of 10s and 12s, and I love my single 15". The enclosure is a big part.

I'm not a noob. You see my system and my plexiglass overlay i've done myself. I'm not looking to get called out, i'm looking for information. I'm most likley going for 2 M3 12" Mojo subs by Memphis. Running them off of my 2400 watt amp wire them down to 1 ohm I will be pushing at least 2400 watts to both of them. I'm currently looking for the biggest box. My friend he would build one as long as I provide the materials. Any suggestions on these subs?
Edit: Possibly arcs flatlines? I'm looking for something that nobody else has in my town. Also if you have two different sized subwoofers usually the freq. cross and just kinda cover each other up so you and they cancel each other out.

I'm getting 2 12" inch Flatlines. I'm running a 2400 Watt stable at 1 Ohm DEI Amplifier. The 2400D. 200 Amp Alternator from Stinger will be installed soon.

4 gauge wiring including 4 gauge grounding. Big 3 is done. Finished it with some extra 4 gauge I had laying around. Battery is a brand new Duralast deep cycle battery.

Upgrade your wiring. 4 gauge will not be enough for that much power.

According to my calculations,

and Balani's law,

2400 watts/approximately 600 watts/cap

=4 farads worth of caps.

That's a lot of extra money you're going to need for caps man, not including the power wire and flux capacitors.

get a different amp, those dei amps are garbage, and I'd reccomend an irragi alternator. The stinger is nice but overpriced IMHO

and Id be interested if the pics didnt show a lot of wear. That left sub looks scratched to hell, and it might be me, but right sub looks like it has a hole in the surround at about 6 oclock. If these arent true, please shoot me a pm Dan.
