Sound system/power seats

So I have a system in my car and I just got power leather seats for it too thinking the car was prewired as everyone on here says it is. I've removed the carpet and seat but dont see any power seat harness so looks like I'm tapping in somewhere for some power..and I'm thinking of doing that from the power cable for my amp but I'm skeptical as I think it might cause some intereference noise or something. Can any one offer any guidance?

Thanks

DEFINATELY NOT something you should do. Yes it can cause interference. It shouldn't be too bad to run a couple of 10 or 12 gauge wires for power to the seats?

How would it cause interference assuming the power seats take a 12 - 16v DC input?

If he's pulling that power off the power wire, and uses his power seat while his system is on, wouldn't there be a chance of interference from the seats switches? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I know I would never do that.

The way I see it all the current is coming from the same place anyway. Whether it be a power antenna or the relays for headlights, accessories, etc.. The only thing that could go wrong would be the fuse blowing depending on its size with respect to what the stereo system needs.

Find another source, or just run a 12-14 gauge from the battery.

You sure that 93's are prewired for heated seats? Was that even an option 13 years ago?

My 92 did not have heated seats, but did have the switch that made the transmission go from luxury type shifting to sporty. It also allowed the heater to work, and at the same time have cool air from the front vents...... just remembering... back on point...

I would also not use that power supply, go the battery route.

Hey guys thanks for your replies..No I 3rd gens did not have an option for heated seats but then again I never mentioned anything with heated seats, just power seats. I already fixed the problem by tapping into cig lighter and running wire under center armrest console and then splitting onto each seat..very stock looking so I dont care...everything works perfect. Thanks guys!
