Dual 8" JL Audio (Sealed Rear Deck)

Realized I hadn't been on the site in a long time. My buddy just bought a new 07 max and I came over to see what was going on. Saw the post about the free air 10" and thought I would post a link to the Dual 8's I did on my 03 I had. It was a very easy job and sounded fantastic. Miss that car sometimes.

Do it! I think you could do a pair of 10"s in that deck with some minor cutting. DLS OA10's to be exact.

I did do some major cutting and really wanted to do the 10's. My main problem was the trunk rods and having clearance for them. The 10's may have fit but it would have been extremely tight. Those two little 8's really sounded go though. I've got a Cady CTS-V now with a Image Dynamics 10 running free air and it doesn't come close to those two little sealed 8's.

JL Audio 500/5. It was running JL components in front doors (125x2) and JL coax's in the rear doors (25x2) along with the two 8's (250x1). When you folded the seats down the crossovers for the components, fuse holder and Stinger Capacitor were mounted there. Looked very clean. I had a piece of smoked plexiglass that covered the amp in back so you couldn't really see anything. I may have pics some where. If I do I'll post them.
