Clarion amps...

how are they as far as quality goes? specifically, i'm looking at the Clarion APX4360.. thoughts?

also, if someone could make a quick but comprehensive list of recommended amp brands in general, including affordable 'bang for the buck' type options that would be super. sorry if this has already been done, as i assume it has, but i came up with nothing..

Seems like you really have no idea what amp you want.

hard to just make a list of good amps. try and give up some more info, what reciever are you going to be useing, what is the amp going to power (subs what kind rms rateing) howmany channels you want. then we can sugest a few good amps.

i have an excelon deck with 4v preouts and plan to use a 4ch to run comps up front and bridge to sub in the back- likely assassin 8 or maybe a 10 in the trunk.. but the speakers are undecuded as well so i;m really open. the main thing is the money aspect. i cant afford too incredibly much.

ask Don if he still has that diamond 4 channel.. thats a good amp.

he's probably sold it by now, but its worth a shot...

I just got the Eclipse EA4000 a few moths back. its a great amp, super clean, i have it bridged to my comps and it pushes them nicely. it does 75x4 @ 4 ohm.
