What material and design is best for car speakers?

What material and design is best for car speakers?

Looking for some new 6.5" car speakers for a 4th gen. what material is best sounding ? i have seen metal plastic and other crap so i am lost. Also what design is best 2-way 3-way or 4-way?

not looking to break the bank or anytihng, range is $100 CAN for a pair or less

Depends on what kind of sound you want, but in all reality in your budget it won't make that much of a difference.

There is no substitute for listening to them in person. Just makes some trips to your local stores and listen for yourself. Everyone has different preferences and tolerances, so what is good for some may not be for you.

paper > all lol! Honestly it doesnt really matter what its made out of, its more important to see how the driver was designed, and how it functions or more importantly how well it sounds and which one qualifies to be selected.
