Very nice. Burned discs generally won't compare to store bought cd's.

Not true for most of the store bought CDs I tried. This one was on a different level.

I definately think these babies deserve a better amp than the one currently powering them.

Any suggestions? I have no plans on going active right now. Sub will probably be (1) eD 11ov2 or (1) 13ov2. Either a nice big 3/5 channel to power it all or 2 compact ones (something like Audison is perfect size).

There goes my tax return.

Whats powering them now? I would go dual 4 channel, once you figure out what sub you wanna get so you can run fully active .

In the spare tire well since I have no sub box yet.

Manny's killing me. I'm about to unload a nice chunk of my refund into his paypal. Girl's pissed as hell. This **** is an addiction.

It's simple-becuase mp3s are crap--they're compressed for storage purposes. How can one expect them to sound as good as the original WAV files when you're shaving off 90& of the information?

NOT ALL MP3's are created equal....
I have some mp3s that sound great because they were ripped at a high quality.

Yeah, but no mp3, regardless of bit rate, can ever sound as good as a WAV

Truf. I think I'm going to bite on the SLC 3 ways. Just need to figure out where to put the mids. I can put them in and take out the 2 ways, replace the tweets then sell the set to recover some cash. Good plan

I'll let ya know.

No, try again.

Buy the set. Put the entire new set in my car. Take my old tweets, warranty them out (if possible) with Don. Then sell the old set (with new/warranteed tweets) to recover money.

Pulling the trigger on an Audison LRx 6.9 and 2 10" Rainbow Hammers. And then I'm f'ing done for a looooong time. Thank you fockers for pressuring me into spending way more than I'd like to and putting me in the doghouse for a good while.

Manny, you're a patient man. Thanks bro.
