RCA Cable Q

RCA Cable Q
I need to run a set of RCA's to my trunk. I've got a 5th gen. What length cable should I get? I want the cable to reach from the back of the headunit to the back of the trunk. Does 20' sound right or should I get a shorter length?

i have this one in the 4 ch variety and it gets the job done. a little long, but anything under 5 meters will be cutting it short

You want the shortest RCA as possible to do your install, so there won't be loss of signal. Less length, less loss of audio signal. If you run it through the center all you need is 13.5 feet. If you are running it on the side get 15.

I have went the long route. I was originally going to have my amps in the trunk, now they are under my seats. Just used the same long cables, and some zip ties to get them under control behind the dash .
I would go with the 17 feet.
