So umm how do you like the bluetooth on it? I think I'm about to purchase the unit... But why do you say you wouldnt get the bluetooth if you have the headunit hookep up to amps?

Also did you bypass the security features for the DVD player and Navi functions? difficult to do?

The bluetooth is GREAT on the unit. And you are exactly right...the bluetooth UNIT needs to use the headunit high level outputs for sound. It's the only way it will work. It WILL NOT send the signal through the low level preouts for sound.

Eclipse's answer:
Hello,

The Parrot adapter has a little amp that cannot be in line with a powerful amp because the input voltage would be to high and blow out the inputs on the little amp. Run the back speakers like normal, through the parrot adapter using the mute wire.

DVD & navi function lock out is easy to disable...just ground the parking brake wire.

what's an iPOD?

YOU can if you want to drill new holes in your brackets. I chose not to as I'm satisfied with the way it is.
