louder spl?

Today I took out me speakers in the rear deck i seems like the isnt louder but theres less trunk rattle wont know until its on da TL...Also will removing that sub frame thing thats support the back seat make it louder? I cant cut thing because thats another class...

Also Im getting boxes that will have the port facing up so that all the air goes into the cabin...In theory it seems like it will work but you never know huh?

your gonna have to play with box positioning., anything that allows the air into the car MORE will help, but on top of that you may also want to try aiming the box backwards toward the trunk.. pushing the box all the way under the parcel cover, as wel as sliding it all the way to the front of the trunk.. in my last car i had about a.5db gain with the box pulled toward the edge of the trunk, but that was impractical for day to day.
