What is wrong with Eclipse

I purchased a AVN 5510 (double din) wtih bluetooth for those that don't know. It seems they didn't plan for people to have amplified systems with the unit, so if you have a amp the bluetooth won't work. Well the workaround for this is to wire a extra speaker to the headunit non-amped signal. The problem I have with this is I can't hear the people loud enough. And to think you are suppose to be able to hear and talk with windows down. I'm not really knocking on eclipse I love the unit I just think for the money people are spending for the bluetooth it should be able to work correctly.

This is just me venting a little.

bluetooth isn't great in general so implementing it into a car isn't something I concern myself with. But yeah, im sure the '08 models will be better.

The reason I love the bluetooth idea is if I get a business call and the headunit mutes my music. Then allows me to accept the call. I would like not to have to roll the windows up and put in the AC everytime I get a call that is annoying.

Bluetooth is fantastic, but the functionality with the eclipse really does suck. Very unfortunate.

2008 will have a full integrated solution, along the lines of the AVN2210 type of BT.

I have the avn6610. I've ALMOST solved the whole bluetooth problem but it has gotten COSTLY.

I purchased a couple of speakers...ended up with the eclipse center channel speaker. NOW IT IS WAY TOO LOUD since it's amplified...I think i'll remedy this by picking up an LOC. Do you get music out of your "bluetooth" speaker? If so cut the wire coming out from the parrot kit adapter to your headunit. Thank Pearl96max for that idea.

Maybe its an up north thing cuz down here if someone calls you a jew thats the least of your concerns...plus I'm jewish so according to the flawed logic of the world, I'm "allowed" to make fun of my own people.

-On a side note, its 97 degrees according to the maxima outside now, and when water splashes on my car, the wax simmers off. (carnauba FTL)

Try a polymer type wax. For example; Klasse,Blackfire, and Menzerna

Lifting heavy weights 5-6x a week for 4 years at UF didnt help me...tore my right labrum posterior, and didn't realize it until I got pushed to the ground playing football. However, once I'm done I might have time to drive to see Mike and tune the max FINALLY.
