installing bigger subs to oem bose amp?

Trying to change the rear subs on my 04 max prem package with some bigger subs. anyone knows which wires i gotta tap on the rear sub amp? I'm lost as to which ones i gotta hook up. Any help is appreciated. I'm not gonna install a amp now though, i'll do that later.

It would be better to just get new amps and subs. The Bose amps are made specifically for the Bose speakers and won't sound good w/anything else.

Just cut and splice the wires going to the leads on the speakers. It's gonna sound bad though.

Just tried it. Didn't hear that much bass when you got inside the car. But when you are next to the box theres kick in it.

How about adding my amp to the setup? I would need a hi-lo adapter even if its just for the subs? I see there's another connector that goes to the factory sub amp. It's 2 blacks, yellow, white. Are those the remote turn on, 12+, and negative?

Yea that would probably work.

If you have a voltmeter test to see the voltages on each line, then tap into the ones that send the signal. It would probably just be easiest to leave the BOSE speakers and amps connected, and just take the signal right off the wires going to the speakers.

I'm trying to do the same upgrade, but I don't know which LOC I should use. I am adding a 15" MTX and a JL 500/1 amp. Any comments?
