I leave for one day have a conversation with don and now there is two more pages of great debate!

I say go JL, but we must realize that DON is on the other side of Car audio that I can only drool over. JL Audio to him is probably on the lines of Pyramid to us. The reaso for this is Don and others work with only the top teir of equipment not sold at your local Best buy, Tweeter, or Circuity City !

We all have opinions on stuff as me thinking Dyns are the greatest for under
5 grand! But we are arguing about what is better than what when we really are voice our true opinions.

Also what does 16hz sound like, I never heard that low before, nor do I think we can hear that low, but if it is tuned to 16hz it must really kick ***!

Maybe you're finally understanding, most of us have been exposed and use the products above and beyond JL audio, this is why we share the belief we do. If you take into account the price that people pay for their JL audio they could have easily spent less elsewhere and gotten better products.

Also i never paid Retail for JL audio, so I dont put the price factor into the realm of things, I know they make a good Line for the Coin most people figure to pay for stuff!

Yeah, JL is overpriced for what they offer the public, so it's good if you get it under retail but not so good w/o a warranty. Many people who tout JL to be the best in the world usually don't take the time to research or open their minds to diff. and/or better products. So those who fall to the marketing and truly believe in "you get what you pay for"(even though there are tons of things out there pricier than JL) honestly think it's the best there is.

What is the frequency of the brown note? Isn't it somewhere around 16Hz. My car should make me poop all the time.

23% of statistics are made up...the poll is skewed with a bias towards JL by asking if people would buy JL. I would buy a JL sub if it was $15, but I was smart enough to vote NO anyway.

Indeed. It figures the poll would have to be rigged for the OMGJLZ4THEWIN crowd to come out on top.

In all fairness, I have owned JL products in the past. I found a used 15" for sale and snatched it up. Still like my Q's better. Muuuuch better.

plus eleventy billion

the poll isn't rigged, the max.org audio community just fell prey to the JL marketing scam.

JL marketing scam = 'JL is the best stuff in teh universe, yo'
