so I think I might have a bad rainbow crossover cause my driver side speaker keeps cutting in and out when I'm listening to music at a medium volume.

Sounds more like a loose connection.

I tried all the connections and they aren't loose. Gordon gave me a good idea to switch the xovers and go from there.

Oh well in that case, it's probably best to repair the loose solder joint in your crossover with stamps, the self-adhesive kind.

Maybe that one is over your head. It's a joke. If the crossover is what's cutting out, then it seems your issue has been isolated. Now just a matter of harassing whoever can warranty it for you.

Just a little over my head. I'm not audio savvy.

...don? I did buy the rainbows from don but that was like 6+ months ago, maybe more.

I seem to be at odds with myself. I really want to start the baffles over, but I feel tired and worn down. I used to get super excited about starting a new project. Now I am just meh. I hope I can get motivated. I know what I am going to do now. Maybe a nice hot shower and some coffee will revive me.

Only used when appropriate though. AS I am distracted, I saw a use for it.

Yes it does. It wouldn't prevent a proper motorboat though, so I have no fear of it.

She could always get that fixed too.

Wonder if they come with a warranty.

Or maybe a protection plan?

I am waiting for the wife to get back. She went to some creemas party with her mother-in-law. Then I shall go get some JB Weld, some Epoxy, and a belt/disc bench snader. I sould be able to knock out the doors tomorrow.

I have decided to cut the deadener out of the larger holes in the doors and make 1/2" MDF inserts to add rigidity. This should take too much extra time, but while I have the door off, I might as well take care of a few loose ends.

It is 67 here. Good temp to use filler. Too bad it rained last night. Going to play a few games of 9ball. I need to practice for the ultimate asian pool shark named GORDON.

So my driver side is cutting out a lot now. When I play my music around 40 volume then I can get back some music in the speaker. I think I'll switch the xover tomorrow and see how things go from there.

Orly didn't have one drink during the SEC playoff game. I think I am still recovering from last week.

I gotta get these lights put up. Mad dash for the last exam starts tomorrow. Woo Hoo, only one more. Looks like the install will be pushed till afte then.
