hmm, didnt know you only have one functioning kidney left, chris. my mom is on the same boat as you then. it sucks too, she got to be careful what she eats. her joints and stuff would hurt from time to time from elevated levels of uric acid.
good thing is that her urologist says her working kidney is still very healthy. i hope yours is too.

Basically I was uber sick from birth to 6. They did some tests and figured out that the one kidney was actually rotting inside my body. Thus dumping toxins directly into my blood. They removed this junk kidney, and my health has improved dramatically. They ran a battery of tests on my till I was 16. A cathader (sp) twice a year was not pleasant. Niether was the radioactive die they injected me with to trace the kidney function. I know have some awesome white coat syndrom. I did decide at 16 that I was done with the tests and stopped going.
Like your mom Gordon, I have to watch the uric acid levels. Gout sucks. I get it in my left toe, which was a point of injury in the past. I haven't had any real bouts with it since I moved into my house, thankfully. I can't walk very well with it.
Coincidentally, due to my age when the doctors removed my bad kidney, the other one is enlarged to almost twice the size of a "normal" kidney. Funny how the body works sometimes. I can usually tell when I need to go to only water and cranberry juice, I keep an eye on my blood pressure and my feet swell as a symtom. I try my best to not drink too heavily, and when I do it usually takes me a few weeks to fully recover.
It is what it is though.
And it is 29degrees here. Boo. Wifey and I finally got the lights up. I will take some pics tonight if I rememebr to.

well, ive got 3 kidneys(seriously) I would give you one of them but with the nuerological disorder I have you couldnt use it. its funny when they found that out, i was like 13 and my doctor told me I could drink and drink, and it would take a lot to get drunk

Nuerological? That sucks. My father in law has post polio syndrom and degenarative disks etc.... He is in insane amounts of pain due to pinched nerves and a lifetime of walking having to compensate for his polio. I don't ever want to find out. I like my little disability just fine. It saves $ on liquor.

LOL. Nope. It will be perfect. The first one was 2.5cf per driver after displacement. I am gaining internal volume due to the aero ports, and taking some away to make the box smaller. I may be down to roughly 2.25ish per driver when it is all said and done.
Overall I am now happy with the design, thanks to Gordon's input.

^ Heard that a million times on here
Maybe its just me not giving a fukc about having to scroll one extra click...cuz getting an ad blocking program is just one more thing for me to download. Along with Firefox which Don praises...I've never had a single problem with IE

I have so many issues with FF. I don't like it. And for some odd reason I don't get any of those adds.

No saw, no box. As soon as I get/procure one, I will knock that sucker out. I keep getting to a spot in the book I just can't seem to get past. Not because I don't understand it, but b/c there have been many more distractions. I have someone else from class stopping by so we can make some headway. Maybe that will get me focused.
