Bose audio data display" Audio Gurus welcome

The Nissan Factory Bose System has the ability to display Track Titles, Cd Titles, Radio Station Data ETC.
Does anyone know what audio data formats are compatible with the Bose Stereo.
ID3v1 ...... ID3v2 .....
From my experiences ID3v2 doesnt display cd data on the screen.
In other words I want to know how to get that Audio Info on my HU screen from CDs compilied by me.

Would anyone know what authentic audio cds use? Considering They display properly "most of the time".

TIA

Why not try them out? Can't cost you more than $2 for a couple of blank cd's.

CD+Text with Adobe Audition 1.5 works just fine. But it's not free.

I've bought new CD's and extracted the audio directly into Audition. Had to type in the titles and such. (I wish I could just use a FreeCDDB or something for that part.) Made sure that I wasn't padding the disc with any additional pause time and turned on the pre-emphasis and filled in the ISRC so that it will read properly in a PC Media player. Then I burned them back with the text on to your typical CD-R Memorex discs. It's never failed, and now I will never put a disc in my changer without text.

I haven't tried MP3 format yet. But I have converted MP3's back into CD-Audio and added text to them which also works.
