Mono Amp For 2 L5s

Looking to find amp(s) for my L5s 1200watts RMS combined 2ohms. Ideas or choices is helpful with a lil discription

I installed a setup in a buddy's Silverado, with two L5s running off a JBL 1200.1 and it hits quite nicely.

i bought the jbl1200.1. it was defective, dont trust it again. thats the whole reason im finding another amp.

budget..eh $300 to $400

the fact that it was defective probably has nothing to do with JBL...

bought it from sonic electronix. we tested it in 5 different cars, nothin much at all. so, to my car we tested a jl audio 1000/1, kicker 1000.1 ZX and 2 alpines and they all worked fine, same wiring, same ground.

This is your first mistake right here -

You should'nt get angry at (or blame, whatever) the manufacturer of the product but rather, the distributor or store. Sonic Electronix sucks along with many other online retailers.

my jbl bp 600.1 is 6 years old by the way and has never shut off rain/shine/hot/cold.

nah, just sold it on the streets for $450. Make me happy, only paid $270 for it. He said he'd fix it so i'm all good.



I didn't know sonic electronics had a bad rep. i bought lots of *stuff* from them. first time I bought an amp though
