if your amp has a high level input, all you need to do is tap in from the rear speakers. easy enough, but make sure you tap in from AFTER the bose speaker amp. (take the plastic covers off the speakers to get access) goodluck

Do I only have to tap into the wires on both rear speakers or just one of them?

you want to tap in to both sides. thats the way i did mine at least. if the amp has the input for both sides, do it... it might make it a fuller sound from a stereo sound spectrum or somethign. goodluck

heres how its done.

No you do not need 2 converters. When you buy a high low converter, which is what I assume you will be doing, it will have 4 wires. On the left speaker, take off the plastic housing and you will notice 4 wires going in to the amp, and 2 wires coming out of the amp into the speakers. Those 2 wires are to be connected (spliced, or whichever way you'd like to do it) to 2 of the wires on your high low converter. I believe green is positive and red is neg (if you look closely I think it says). Then, on the other speaker, do the same, hook the other 2 wires up in the same fashion = and -. Unfortunately for me, I had splice the wires and run additional wire to make up for the legnth of the wires on the converter. Whatever works for you.
