Please help!! What kind of amp should I buy...
#1
What kind of amp do I need to power these components:
-Front and rear Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" speakers (70 watt power handling each)
-JL Audio 12W0
I know this is a very loose question but I'm not sure how many channels, wattage or other specs the amp should have to power them.

Nate, the main piece of info I'll need to help you on your quest is what you're willing to spend. I mean, what you should do is buy the best amp you can you can afford. It looks like you'll want a 4 channel amp that puts out around 50-100 watts a channel. Tell me your price range, because without that I don't know whether you want to spend 1000 on a Phoenix Gold type amp, or 300 on a kenwood type amp. I have some friends who own shops around the TO and Mississauga areas that should be able to help you out...if you know the price range you're in. The main shops I'm talking about designed and built many of the best show cars at Dark Knights....no joke.
take care,
G
