he isnt making all that up -

its verrry true

the best wayt o reallly get rid of rattles.. find then, and stop whatever is banging together - if it takes sticky-backed felt, use it.. dynamat = dead weight.. might as well use sandbags if it was adhesive.

whoa! i got a reply from the all famous auto-5spd conversion guy! I tell all of my friends about what you did to your car

I tell them I'll eventually do that too.

Actually sand bags would work pretty good. Just mix the sand in a bondo or epoxy resin and spread it around. Or for a rubbery compound use caulk or silicone.

thats very true... i heard of someone dying while installing dynamatt, they were installing in the trunk and the trunk got stuck to his arm from the dynamat and the trunk got pulled closed... he was in there for 4-5 days they said til they actually discovered him, but he died.... dynamat denies all allogations to this, but it is very true
