passive crossover mounting

passive crossover mounting

For those of you with components in the front, where did you mount the passive crossover?? I am kinda clueless so any help will be much appreciated.

I used industrial stength double sided mounting tape and mounted it inside the door up against the interior side. This way its out of the way, easy to get to, and wont get wet..

You didn't think about drilling it in and securing it to the door...i take it you haven't had a problem of it falling off???

Man i probably reaches 150 degrees inside my door and it hasnt fallin off yet... Plus there is no holes on my crossover to mount it anywhere

I mounted mine to the inner sheet metal with factory holes.

I ran new wires into my door, and used zip-ties to zip tie the crossover up under the dash area. Easy access, won't get wet, and dosen't rattle itself everytime I shut the door.

putting the passive x overs in the door is a bad idea put them in the kick panel. I fyou have your speakers there put them high in the dash or under the console.
