pain in the ***. OK here goes, do these things, in order, when your noise is gone, you win. If it won't go, start buying noise filters. Oh, and if your deck isn't hi volt pre out, that makes it harder. Finally, check for noise after each step. GO! First, try turning down the gains on your amps. You will have to turn head unit up louder, but can eliminate noise. Next make sure amp isn't mounted to metal chassis, if this is the case remount amp to a piece of wood, and mount wood to metal, or just mount amp to box. Next make sure power wire is on driver, rca on passenger side. Don't let these wires cross each other. Make sure you have twisted pair rca's, says so on box. Next make sure your amp is grounded good. Use same gauge as power wire, and make sure to file off all paint from grounding surface. Next, reground your deck. Max has bs factory ground. Just run ground wire from deck to chassis, no paint, and ground. Next, try unplugging antenna and see if noise goes away, if so get antenna noise supressor. Next, try taking radio out of dash. If noise goes away then it is being radiated in by other wires and you should try to wrap the deck in copper foil. As last ditch, try running ground from amp, and/or deck to negative battery post, if works, make the jump permanent. If none of this works, try to find a ground loop isolator. This item plugs in to rca's. NOT an rca noise filter, but ground loop isolator. This worked for me when all the rest failed.
