hey, i'm wondering if it's possible to replace the Bose tweeters with aftermarket one's without adding amps or anything like that. The reason i'm asking is because mine seem to be blown. I asked a guy at a respectable stereo shop, and he said no because bose uses a 1 ohm load, which seems to be untrue since i just took a look at the tweeter and it says 4 ohms on it. Any help would be appreciated, thnx.

ya alot of people have no experience with different bose systems and just spew out what they have heard somewhere like a robot... i know on my car the tweeters had built in crossovers so if you replaced it you would need a tweeter that as a cap on it...Originally posted by BossmaX
