remote start for manual transmissions is pretty similar....bascially the wiring is the same for the ignition, starter etc... but the only difference is that the clutch switch needs to think it's being depressed...now with maxima's i think when you depress the switch you get 12volts...enabling the car to start...now all you need is a relay or use the extra 12v output from the remote start to give that switch 12volts so the car thinks the clutch is depressed...OR it could be that when the clutch is depressed...it shows 0 volts..so you need to reverse the polarity of the relay.....but the only extra thing you need to do is find the clutch switch and wire up a relay. I hope this helps..sorta...e-mail me if you need some exact directions on the relay... Just so you know......unless you plan on installing some mercury switches on you shifter...or some sort of safety device..if you remote start in gear..your gonna have a accident!

Re: I understand about the accident part

if you can..just look under the dash..follow the clutch pedal up...grab a flashlight if necessary..you see..the arm of the clutch hit a pin style switch....try this..if you locate the switch..put the car in ***NEUTRAL***!!!!!!.....press the switch with your finger or something..and try to start the car.....if the car starts in neutral...and our finger is pushing that switch down..thats the one. I dont know the "techincal" name for it tho. but make sure its in neutral...man..it gets ugly when your leaning under the car upside down..pushing the switch..and starting and having the car jump..woohoo..talk bout bruises (i was watching!! not in the car)

I have done enough installs

I am totally comfortable around the car.... Shiet try contorting your body to get your hands in position for some of the bolts on the Supercharger... WOW! I was cleaning motor oil off places I didn't know I could bend.

Anyone else wanna add their 2 cents?
