Installed Eclipse nav but need help.

Ok i installed a Eclipse AVN5500 today but now i'm not hearing any sounds from the front and rear speakers. Sound is only coming out from my 2 12's in the back. Is it something to do with the premium bose system? I gotta bypass the amps on each speaker or what? I'm gonna shoot myself if that's the case.

thats why you need professional installation if you dont know what youre doing. lol. take a deep breath and take your car to the nearset best buy. it would only cost around 150. they garantee the work too. its def worth the headach

You're talking to someone who installed his own shocks, change alternator, installed remote starter, and tons of more stuff so i know my way around my car. I'm not gonna pay that much when it could be a simple fix.

Mine is working pretty good so far. love it. atleast take it to best buy tweeter or somewhere see if they can tell you what you did wrong.

pac oem 1? Think thats it. I think i know what's the problem. Since the bose amp is interconnected to all the speakers, i didn't hook up the remote turn on amp cable for it. I was wondering why i had a short cut cable on the metra harness. i'll update this thread on thursday when i get the chance to fix it.

First off... Best buy wont give you a warranty on it UNLESS you got the kit/unit from them!!!!!

2nd, this is in the wrong section, it should/will get more replies in audio/video

3rd... i would give my opinion on whats wrong, but your "... You are talking to a guy who..." comment makes it seem like you know what you are doing?!?!

I tried to help you out... I told you that HIS info was wrong..

best buy wont give you a warranty...

I also told you that you would get A LOT more help in a section that is MADE for this EXACT thing..

this section is for a 6th maximas....

NOT aftermarket stereo q's... even though its on a 6th gen maxima...

Posting style? I guess i do let people know ALL THE TIME that they are posting in the wrong spot... but i also give my .02 on the problem that was asked by the OP...

i dont know what you mean with the kit unit, but if its the wireing, i had everything from my old car. I took everything out and they put everything in for me in the maxima.

just as suspected. It was the remote turn on wire from the factory amp that wasn't connected.

PEACE, muyrec wins, lose your e-EGO fastmax. I see it around quite a bit on the forums and its pretty annoying. If the dudes asking for some help why not take the time to help him instead of being a herb and taking the time out to bust his ***** to get some self satisfaction.
