CD7100 issues

Ok, this one has me perplexed. Put the faceplate on today, no audio. So I push Source, nothing happens. Press Open, nothing happens. Push the center button on the jog-dial, I get an ACC OFF message and the unit shuts down. So, I get home and try plugging in my iPOD. I get sound and can adjust the volume but I can't do anything else. I can't switch songs, change source or do anything. It worked fine on Saturday pretty much all day but quit on me today. Help please!!!

Forgot to mention, HU doesn't turn on when the key is on ACC or ON, only when car is started.

Have you tried re-setting it yet? Not sure if it's the same on yours as mine (I've got the 7000) but there is an itty bitty little button on the faceplate right above the band/return button. Use a toothpick or a paper clip, reset it and see if that gets you squared. If it doesn't, then I dunno. Perhaps it might be time to send her to get serviced.

I didn't even know I had a reset button on mine till it started acting funny and I was compelled to find it. Yours should be right under the MP3 logo (and above the band/reset button)

I hope it works for ya.
