Good picture/video camera?

Hey, i figured you guys could help me. I am trying to find something thats small to use and takes amazing photos and long video's. What most people use to take pictures on the forum of their cars. I'm tired of trying to get other people to take pictures/videos of my car and things. What would you guys suggest? I am not the best on cash right now so good quality/price is what i am looking for. Doesn't have to be a certain brand name. This summer i want to be able to go to different places where i live and take the kind of pictures i want of my car. Tasteful pictures. Thanks

i'd highly consider the Canon SD series point and shoot cameras. Pictures are very clear and the video quality is pretty good as well. they share the same picture processor as their bigger SLR brothers. you can get the Canon SD750 for ~230 bucks.

You know, Gordon, I'd always recommend a Canon. Always. However, this guy doesn't seem like a guy that wants to spend cash. I still have a Canon PS, from 2001...I paid 500 for it. And that, was the best deal.

If you want quality, buy Canon. They make cameras, for God's sake!

If not, don't listen to Gordo.

I don't think this guy wants quality that costs money. Just an observation.

That's the unfortunate thing. Did you see the resolution, on the flip thing? It's horrid. In fact, I regret even mentioning it. Only mentioned it, because my buddy got one as a present.

Just go to Best Buy or something. Hell, do like I did when I bought my first digicam....go to all of the electronics store's websites and look for a deal.
