Distribution block necessary?

Quick wiring question. I have a self-powered 8" Bazooka tube along with the 4-channel Kenwood amp to install in my Max. How would I need to run the power and ground cables? I already have a 8-gauge wiring kit laying around. Would I need to buy a distribution block setup to run both?

Also, a side question: I have a set of aftermarket speaker for the fronts, but not the rears. If I install an aftermarket headunit, and power front speakers off of the amp, can I somehow run the rears BOSE off of the headunit until I can afford to buy some new rear speakers?

you will need a distro block to run multilpe power wires. you should be able to run the rears off the hu with an adapter.

And you don't need a dist block for ground. Just put the two wires (with ring terminals) on the same grounding bolt.

I wouldnt recomend using 8gauge on a distro block.. but if you must go for it. Run some 0/4g then drop it down to 4/8.
