how to pop trunk with alarm remote
just intalled the factory trunk actuator and the switch in the door panel. i want to be able to open it with my alarm remote (its aftermarket). the remote has a button with a trunk open so there should be a way of doing this with my alarm.
Why would you need to install a factory actuator and a switch?
If you have to ask you should have a professional do it, but in any case, youd wire the aux output from the brain to the trunk release wire in the car, possibly through a relay depending on the year of your maxima.
