Gallardo Install

Forum's been dead and boring lately, thought you guys might enjoy some pics. Here's and install we did at work recently for one of our big baller customers:

Equipment:
-Alpine IVA-W205 head
-Rockford Fosgate Power T500-1bd
-Rockford Fosgate Power T400-2
-JL Audio C5-650 Comps, front (no rear fill)
-2x JL Audio 8w3's in custom sealed box

and pics!:

car

Amps were stack mounted on 3/4" Plexi and lit up with about 25 bright white LED's a piece, in the "trunk" which was in front for all you lamborghini-illiterate folks

Box was wrapped in a black leather-type material, with a black suede accent on the front. The plexi was cut with our CNC machine, its crazy as it can cut/carve anything with perfect accuracy via a computer program. For this one, we put the Lamborghini emblem in the center of the box and lit it up with white LEDs as well.

tell me what you think!

the guy didnt know any better, and its what we sell. We aren't gonna sell him something we aren't authorized to sell, a store is in business to make money...

I hear ya though. It sounded pretty good to me, and amazed the customer.

You'd figure Unique Whips would do the same. I've seen what they've put into their highend customer's cars, and I would have figured they'd put in a lot more sophisticated stuff for the outrageousness they charge.

One episode I saw was this kid with a 350z that went in and wanted an amp, foldout, subs, wheels and a body kit. Castro quoted him $25,000, and said that's how they roll. WTF? They sound was JBL too and it was only for 10's. 50 cent gettin jacked then......

I'm sure you're right on that one. I'm sure they also charge according to the type of client el they get.

Great install! The only thing I didn't like was the nest of wires hiding there at the bottom toward the front of the boot. I am loving the LED's and the sub box.

What other lines does your shop carry. Just out of curiosity.

Ferruccio Lamborghini was fed up with his Ferrari, so he created the Lamborghini.

You could have sold him something that you were not YET authorized to sell. Sell him on a product and then I get set up the account for ya. Win win for the shop.

Im sure something to the Likes of Sinfoni, TRU, Brax/Helix woulda suited the car better.

Oh I agree completely Don. Tough to convince the boss to sell something else when he's already set up to sell our current mainstream stuff though. The next time he goes to CES, Ill be sure to tell him to stop by your booth with all your goodies. Maybe I'll get lucky...

Ive already sold other installers on Rainbow however..
