I think it's made by Metra, I'm actually 80% sure it is. It's for the dash or any type of fab work, comes in a flat square piece and you can cut it to fill in gaps around the headunit and such where the hu trim just doesn't fit/work. I can't think of the proper terminology for the life of me, and I've search but can't find it again. (found it once, but lost the link) O, and it's got a grid on the back to make straight cuts, not sure how big the whole piece is but 1 should do the trick. Any help here? Links would be great too.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
metra abs gridplate. i googled it and this was the cheapest i found:

*edit* you can find regular abs sheets a lot cheaper, unless you really need the grid.

Actually, I'm possibly going another route with the AVN6610 and might not use the GXE kit. Just something to play with and see how it turns out. Also, I need a little bit for fabricating on some other installs that I do, so I needed to pick it up anyway, but didn't even think to ask ya.
till next time I need some more.
Yes for that area. My idea is to recess the AVN a little. I didn't realize it did come with it. The sheet it comes with would need to be wide and tall enough to extend the width of the opening. I'll play with it to see if my idea would work.
