03 Max Double Din Dash Kit

Hi,

I'm posting this thread because I've reached a stage that I'm quite pissed off that I have a new double-din head unit that I am unable to source a dash kit for. I've checked every audio store in my city and cannot get a dash kit to fit into my 2003 Maxima SE with Bose. I've read some threads about the GXE dash kit being able to work, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the comfort package (climate control) in my car and BOSE. Basically I've got a Titanium Edition SE and I'm looking for any ready made dash kit to hold a Pioneer AVIC D3. Please suggest what you think will result in the cleanest setup possible and post up pics if you got them! Thanks a lot, I'll post pics of the setup when I finally get it working (if I do...)

Hey, just responded to your PM. I've got the auto climate control and Bose, the GXE dash kit will work fine (and is the best option as far as color).

The GXE kit is prob still your best bet, even with a TE. Ask Jeff aka burnurass to show you pics of his.

EDIT: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=558464 FYI

thanks for the help guys..I've gotten a price of like $170 shipped from DaveB, but I'm trying some local options that are a lot cheaper..I'll keep you guys posted on what I decide. I'm trying to get a clean look, if it's going to cost $200 extra just for the dash kit I may just ditch the double din idea and go single din

Hey first things first... its better to be pissed off than pissed on... lol
Just wanted to let you know that I'm selling my kit for $125 if your interested... I had for two months so its in NEW condition... Hope this helps make your decision easier...
Personally the look of a dbl din is some much sweeter than the normal every day din...
