how much for one? gonna be an issue in the NEAR Future lol. i can dip it to 10s if i cut it up...need more amperage. right now im emailing Iraggi, but just curious if anyone has one already and if theyve had any issues.

 

I haven't seen any, wondered if you have the big 3 upgrade done?

i got one for my 4th gen from Iraggi..and had a slight soldering problem from the company but now i got it back (fixed for free) and is going to install either today or torrmmow..

I already asked about this a few weeks ago. Don advised me that a stock one should be sufficient. I'm running quite a few "things" myself.

i was also curious about if they have a higher output alternator, i'm running an alpine f450 4ch and an m850 mono @2 ohms..can the stock alternator handle these without having to be upgraded??

 

The OEM usually suffices. Never changed the one in my G and never had issues even with a trio of beefy amps.

If I did have to/want to change .. OG !

 

cool, because i had a 1 farad cap installed with my previous system and my new installer recommended i lleave it out and said if anything i should just get a bigger alternator if i had any problems...
OP have you ever heard of HO alternators??

 

Im getting that whining noise when i drive, do you have that same problem too?
