Amp recommendation

I've been asking a few people this question, so if you've already been asked by me, excuse the redundancy...just want to see if I can get some opinions...

Anyone have any recommendations for an amp to power a 60.3cs kappa comp set? Infinity rates the speakers as handling 90W rms / 270W max, at 4 ohms. So a two-chan that produces 75-100W rms per chan...
preferably looking for a good deal on a decent SQ amp. I've not really been a big fan of Fosgate amps for SQ/component set power in the past, and I think that's what a lot of people on here might suggest, but hey...any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

if that is the route you choose then i suggest you holding on to the money for now until you can afford what you really want in the future.. you'll end up spending more than what you'll hope to spend in the long run.. it's better to get what you consider the BEST the first time, that way you won't hafta spend twice the money on the same thing again.. and it's always a hassle to sell used equipment.

Actually, try pyle audio they have in thier millenium collection an amp that puts out around 1000 watts 2ohm and 1 that does 500at 2ohms for around your price range. And dont be fooled expensive doesn't always mean better, nor does the name. do your homework and in worse case you can always return it if you don't like it. try a few amps and see what you like. Most places have a thirty day return policy so dont be scared to test them in your ride. BTW dont be cheap on the wires, go 4 guage fuse it at the battery and add a stiffining cap when you get a chance!!!

go with either Alpine, Kenwood or Clarion for the highs. As for subs try to stick with Kicker or Rockford-Fosgate.

Any of the amps people have named here sound good. Honestly, and people won't believe me, just about any amp made by a respectable manufacturer nowadys will give you awesome sound quality. Choose your amp by power ratings (which vary by manufacturer...be careful) and features. Your Infinity speakers will not benefit much from the super-high quality of McIntosh, Xtant, or a/d/s amplifiers. I'm assuming this because Infinity speakers are not super-high quality speakers. They're great speakers and should sound awesome with great amps. But, of course, I'm not saying they won't sound even better with the aforementioned amps, but those amps just scream for speakers better-capable of complimenting them.

I can't stand Rockford Fosgate amps, but I have to admit I've heard some systems with them and they sound very impressive all things considered equal. I can't quote prices, but Alpine VR seriers amplifiers are fairly inexspensive and tons of people like them. Have you thought of Phoenix Gold?

I hope this helps.
