Bose?

Bose?

My Bose speakers are going and the guy at the shop said it's the amps I want to know if I put a aftermarket headunit in will this help or should I just buy new speakers?

Cheapest bet is to replace/fix the offending amplifier not the deck or the speakers. You can get new Bose replacement amps from any Stinger car audio accessory dealer. Or visit a wrecker and pick up a Bose amp/speaker combo. Otherwise you have to replace the deck and speakers and bypass the Bose amplifiers....which won't be cheap.
