what kind of tweeters do you guys recommened? nothing too expensive. i dont want to spend too much, but i want good quality. i had some tweeters (custom mounted) but the bass blew them out. i figure i need to get some kind of crossover to protect them and to get just bass to my subs.

any recomendations on these crossovers? http://www.mysimon.com/isrch/index.j...729_0344581404

also, what do you guys think about these tweeters, looks like they come with theyre own crossovers? http://www.sounddomain.com/shop/item...ype=&selected=

and is there any good tweeters here..? http://www.mysimon.com/isrch/index.j...ice&dir=i&pg=1

sorry for the long post, and thanks for your help

Without a crossover you can blow almost any tweeter with just a few watts. How will you amplify the tweets? With their own amp, or part of a component system? And are these for front stage or rear fill? What type of mid will be used? I wouldn't ask so many questions if I didn't have a possible solution for you in my basement. I have two sets of Diamond HEX 5 1/4ers in my kickpanels but only a single tweet in each. I still have an extra pair of tweets, unused. Also two pairs of unused crossovers. My system is actively crossed over. My wife has the same tweets in her car. Hers' were bought in '97 and haven't missed a beat yet.
