Speakers for the 04 Maxima

So one of my friends has a Charger which has 6x9's in the front in the back....I want 6x9's in the front and back doors of my Max... would that be possible? Moreover what are the sizes of the 4 speakers in the door and the two subs in the trunk? Im tryin to change my audio to something a little better.

haha oh man...

front speakers are 6.5s, the rear speakers are also 6.5s. the rear deck speakers are either 8" or 6x9 "subs." I forgot what year but I think they switched the rears to 6x9's in 05.

Definately don't put 6x9s up front...

He probably wants the bass.

Even if you were to put poop by 9's in the front you will likely not mimic the sound out your friends car.

If you really wanna do something, do a 3-way setup with an 8" midbass up front, and yes it is doable.

But with all the money and effort to be put 6X9s in, then realize it is poop, THEN repair damage to locations and buy something respectable ... Buying a 8" 3 way set would be cheaper.
