HU Power shorting out

So this issue started with my Bose HU (that unit finally **** out)...

Basically, every so often, the HU power will cut out. No response from HU once in a while, lasting for a few miles, then coming back OR requires me to move (not remove) the audio Fuse in the engine bay. This still happens with my Eclipse CD5425 and it is not the HU itself. Could anyone direct me to the right direction to fix this problem?
